This journal used to be full of meaningless fluff. Fortunately for my atrophied writing muscle I discovered an evanescent faerie called principle in the summer of 2006 and decided to wipe the slate clean and start writing on more serious topics in a more coherent fashion. I make no promises of consistency and I still fully intend to post comments entirely unrelated to political philosophy, but I have every intention of at least trying not to use some conjugation of "fuck" more than once a post.
I deleted all my old posts and started fresh on November 28, 2006, which being my birthday I find (accidentally) appropriate.
About what you need to know about me: I used to be an entirely unprincipled leftist. I happened by the grace of God to discover Libertarianism in the summer of ought-six through David Boaz's excellent primer on the subject, and after what was probably less consideration than one might expect I've adopted natural rights theory as my entire political philosophy. This stance leads me often outnumbered and on occasion looking like an selfish prick, but I figure if you adopt a principle you can't just pick and choose.
Other than that, my one true love is gaming (usually of the video flavor), but I've been known to dabble in graphic art and (evidently) writing. Expect frequent idiotic ravings on these and other subjects that may make you question the validity of my political commentaries.
